This Petite Heidi gown was a dream to wear! It feels lightweight and has detailing across the bodice that’s paired with a simple yet sophisticated flowing skirt. Other features include a silk habotai lining, interior boning for extra support, and bra keeps. The dress is sold out at J.Crew due to popular demand.
A local alteration store shortened the dress by several inches. It now best fits someone who is approximately 5’1”. The dress size is Petite 00. (The original purchaser is 5’1” and wore the dress with 3.5” heels.)
The deeply discounted price reflects the unfortunate marks that didn’t come out at the dry cleaner (although I'd recommend you try again!): 1) slight discoloration at the right arm opening 2) a couple of faint smudges near the hem 3) mud specks on the backside of the skirt. These aren’t noticeable when the dress lies flat, but it is noticeable when the skirt is spread out, as shown in one of the images above.
