This Austin Scarlett wedding gown is a dramatic, elegant, and timeless dress. "Augusta" (style AS66) is an off-the-shoulder, silk faille, A-line ball gown with a dropped waist and layered train. It also features a built-in corset and sculptured, detachable ruffled back piece that not only adds unforgettable drama, but also creates a unique and stunning silhouette. As you can see from the pictures, I did not detach the ruffle when bustling the dress for the party because I thought it was just too gorgeous to remove, but this is certainly an option if you wanted to lighten the dress for your reception. The gown was worn once on my wedding day in September of 2016 and immediately professionally cleaned and preserved afterwards.
