Gown features a straight-across neckline with crumb-catcher detail that asymetrically wraps down the left side body. Mirroring the architectural detail of the neckline, the jaw-dropping mid-low back features a plume of swoops and folds of pure silk.
The gown is 100% ivory (or 'natural') silk faille. It's a heavy, sturdy fabric. There is no other embellishment on the gown aside from the fabric itself. This gown is perfect for someone who wants to not be your average bride, but remain fairly traditional.
I had a city wedding, but with a full Catholic mass, so the gown was absolutely perfect. You could easily spice this up with funky heels or blingy accessories.
The gown is fully boned/corsetted. There are two zippers: one interior and one exterior. This gown will not move an inch once on.
The bottom of the gown in the back has one 1/4" area of damage where either someone stepped on my gown or I dragged it. There are no other stains, tears, or signs of use. I wore this for 6 hours during my daytime ceremony, reception, and photos in Central Park. I did not wear this gown for the later "party" reception where most of the dancing (and sweating) was done. The dress is in EXCELLENT condition with the exception of the one snag.
Dress will be delivered in the original garment bag from Gabriella Bridal Salon where gown was purchased (and in drycleaning bag).
